Mark Morissette is an experienced teacher and trainer in family systems therapy. His 25 years of clinical practice in the field gives this training fresh insight into the complexity of families, the competency of the therapist, and the creativity underlying systemic work.

New Possibilties in Systemic Practice
Family Therapy as Emotional Journey
Small group clinical training experience in systems theory and practice. Focusing on underpinnings of systemic therapy, the power of generational patterns and emotional process in family and recent thinking toward an integrated approach to clinical practice. Offering participants a grounding in systemic ideas, a range of clinical techniques, and a deeper grasp of therapeutic practice with families.

Available at the Crossroads offices or your own site.
None of us go it alone. If practice is the question, consultation is the answer. Crossroads provides a number of possibilities when it comes to supervision.

Clinical supervision is offered on both a regular and an ‘as-needed’ basis to clinicians, counsellors, and therapists actively practicing in the field locally.

Opportunities for clinical consultation and supervision are often the critical difference between being truly excited about one’s work or feeling mired in difficulty and stuck inside the questions that come with working in the field of clinical practice. In such situations, one looks to the experience of others.

Moreover, being able to consult closely with a knowledgeable and skilled therapist, one with over 20 years of supervisory experience and one trained in a variety of models and theories, offers just such an opportunity to hone one’s growing edges and shape one’s repertoire of approaches to practice.
