We are pleased to let you know about our clinical group practice and the
counselling services we provide specializing in individual, couple and
family therapy serving the North Shore communities.
Reaching out for help during a time of difficulty and distress is a
first step toward positive change. One’s personal well being relies upon
finding within oneself the emotional resources necessary to manage
effectively while obtaining the qualified professional help needed to
engage this process. Sooner or later, we all reach a point where we
exhaust out abilities to solve life’s questions alone.
Maybe it’s about plotting a new beginning, the start of a new stage in
one’s life. Maybe it’s about dealing with some persistent problem,
finally putting to rest the unfinished business of one’s past. Or maybe
it’s about coming to terms with some aspect of your present life, either
learning to cope effectively or to make peace--letting go of things that
you know you have little or no control over.
Whatever the case, there comes a time for change, a time you realize
that you’re at a crossroads, a time when certain challenges and choices
are met and opportunities encountered, and it’s then time to explore the
many possibilities awaiting you. Counselling can provide a safe place
and an opportune context in which to define the issues you’re facing and
uncover the solutions you want.
At some point in every person’s life, professional counselling can help
in overcoming confusion or hardship, in developing a means to cope with
personal challenges, in working to ease the periods of transition life
presents and, finally, in making it possible to enhance the emotional
quality of life for you and for those you care about: It all begins with
making the call to come in and talk about it.
In my experience working in this field for over 25 years, I have seen
the difference a service like this can make in the lives of adults and
families alike. There is ultimately nothing more important than peace of
mind and personal well being, and the family relationships which matter
most to us.
We would welcome your call and look forward to talking with you about
what counselling could do for you.
Thank you.
Yours truly,
Dr. Mark F. Morissette, MSW, PhD
